Please join Marin Mompreneurs for a morning of “Making Sense of Social Media and Integrating it Effectively in Your Business” on Wednesday, May 22nd. As small business owners and mothers, we hardly have time to get our work done, let alone dive in to find the right social media channels to engage with customers and prospects. Presenter Ann Gusiff of A.Point.Marketing will walk us through social media tools and how to choose the right ones to grow our client base. She’ll explain what engagement and content marketing are and why they warrant our consideration. Ann will show us how to integrate the various tools and live by a calendar. Finally, she will also share about Constant Contact’s EventSpot online tool for managing events. Refreshments will be served. The seminar will be held at the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center of Marin Café from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Ann is a marketer who is dedicated to helping small businesses save money on marketing through education and consulting. With her firm A.Point.Marketing, Ann works with small businesses on marketing strategy and planning as a Duct Tape Marketing Consultant, with solutions that are simple, effective and affordable. She is also an Authorized Local Expert for Constant Contact and presents seminars on marketing for small businesses and nonprofits regularly on their behalf.

Prior to A.Point.Marketing, Ann worked in various positions in small companies and in marketing on the L.A. Looks and Bodycology brands. While studying for her MBA from UCLA Anderson in 1995, Ann launched 501(c)(3) nonprofit Clothes The Deal out of her Pasadena garage and worked in various roles from Executive Director, Board President and clothing sorter. Today Clothes The Deal continues to provide interview clothing for men and women entering the work force and has served over 250,000 job seekers in Southern California. For the past 15 years she has held the position of mother and has yet to be downsized out of her job. She has three children in three schools and one very supportive husband. They live in Mill Valley. Ann is a graduate of Middlebury College and UCLA Anderson.
